The AOBs will settle to the bottom of the bottle over time, so shaking will redistribute them evenly.
PRO TIP: Keep your Mist in the fridge - it will last longer and feel cool and refreshing when you use it.
The Mist is safe to use anywhere on your skin. We recommend using it as the first step in your routine, after cleansing your skin (optional) and before other topical products like lotions, serums, makeup, and SPF.
PRO TIP: We are all different, so experiment to find what is right for you. You can end your routine with a spritz as well!
You can never have too much of a good thing! Spritz throughout the day, after a shower, post-workout, or whenever you need a refresh. Hotter months mean more sweating, so an extra couple of sprays will keep your AOBs primed and ready.
PRO TIP: Use the Mist at night before bed. It provides a cool, relaxing feeling and we sweat a lot when we sleep, giving the AOBs lots of energy to work.
Keep your Mist refrigerated for best results. The Mist lasts 6 months in the fridge, or 30 days at room temperature. As a soil based bacteria, they are able to survive in much the same temperatures as humans. If your bottle arrives warm, that is perfectly normal and there is no impact on product functionality.
AOB TEAM NOTE: While AOBs can easily handle exposure to temperatures up to 95°F for several days, if your Mist bottle arrives hot or frozen solid, contact us at shop@aobiome.com.

What's in the Mist?
The Mist is made up of simple, all-natural ingredients: water, nitrosomonas eutropha (our patented live AOB culture), disodium phosphate and magnesium chloride (natural salts to stabilize the AOBs).
What products can I use with the Mist?
You do not need to change your current health and beauty products to use the Mist. However, some of those products may not support your overall skin microbiome. We recommend natural, simple products like cleansers without sulfates or preservatives and squalane-based moisturizers or a similar non-comedogenic moisturizing agent that works with your natural oils and doesn't clog pores.
How long until I start seeing results?
Some customers see results almost immediately, depending on their skin concern. Most customers see results within 2 to 4 weeks.
How long does a bottle of Mist last?
A bottle lasts most customers for 1-3 months, depending on their daily usage and time of year. If a bottle lasts you more than a month, make sure to store your Mist in the fridge to maintain maximum benefits.
